Reviews "Brandie Mercer was a delight to work with. My experience with her
was great! She helped me have the birth that I wanted. Had she not
been there I believe that I would have ended up with a c-section. I had
been in labor for 18 hours and at that point my attending physician had
stated, if things did not begin to progress, we would have to look into a
c-section. Brandie stood her ground by requesting an extra hour to try
other methods. With that she motivated me to try all kinds of
exercises to promote contractions and repositioning of the baby.
Something we did worked. My infant repositioned and I finally reached a
point where I was ready to push and deliver vaginally. I am so
thankful for Brandie's hard work and I would definitely like to work with her again. Also, I would recommend her to anyone.
As a side note I was Mrs. Mercer's first client and
my attending friends were impressed with her. They couldn't believe
that I was her first. My friends loved how confident and knowledgeable
she was. They also loved how friendly she was."

 "Brandie has truly found her calling. Asking her to be our doula was one of the best
decisions we could have made during my pregnancy. After more than 30 hours of
labor, I was exhausted and in pain. Had it not been for Brandie, I would have
requested an epidural (which had been one of my greatest fears). The baby was
posterior so I had back labor. Brandie knew exactly where and how to push on my
back to make that pain bearable. She also suggested different positions I could
take to encourage the baby to move. Just before the baby came out, she moved in
to the right position!
Brandie thought of everything. She came equipped with so
many useful tools like a heating pad and massage oils. Most importantly she had
the knowledge of what to do in a situation like mine. Her confidence in me and
her reminding me of why I needed to achieve my goals really helped me find the
strength to follow through. It also
meant so much that she kept my husband involved in the entire process.
